Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting individuals through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, family issues, and chronic health conditions. My background in community mental health has given me the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and with a wide range of experiences. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself and know that you’re truly heard.
I am a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. My focus is on working with children and their families to address relational and developmental issues, as well as trauma, anxiety, and behavioral/emotional difficulties.
There is nothing more profound and sacred than our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP), Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist (TF-CBT), and Qualified Supervisor (QS) for the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 1997 from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the field of Psychology. In 2001, I graduated with Honors from Webster University with my Master’s degree in Counseling.
I started my career in 1995 as a Behavior Specialist, working with children and their families. After 10 years of dedicating my time to this population, I ventured out into the unchartered territory of addiction; specifically substance abuse and eating disorder. Since 2014, when I am not providing therapy locally, I travel as a Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC); serving our military families on military installations; in the US and abroad. In 2022, I became certified as a Yoga Teacher and Social Emotional Learning Facilitator.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience with psychological assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. I have worked with children and adults in the community and within mental health institutions dealing with severe and persistent mental health concerns. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how I can be of help!
You've probably been holding it together for so long that you've forgotten what it feels like not to. I work with adults and teenagers who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and the complicated terrain of relationships and identity. A lot of my clients are women working through life transitions, maternal mental health challenges, and the weight of managing everything at once. Whether you're a teenager still figuring out who you are or an adult who feels like you've been running on empty, this kind of exhaustion is something we can actually work through together.
I am a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience helping clients navigate life’s challenges, clarify what matters most, and build lives that feel meaningful. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of effective therapy, so I prioritize creating a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported. My style is warm, humorous, and engaging, while still making room for honest reflection and meaningful growth. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with greater flexibility and self-compassion.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience supporting individuals navigate through a wide range of emotional and life challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship concerns. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and individualized, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change. I approach each client with a curious, open mind, and zero judgment. I recognize that everyone has a unique worldview shaped by their experiences, and I honor and respect that perspective. My hope is to create a space grounded in trust and connection, where we can explore your life and goals. Through honest, open communication, we can build a deeper relationship with ourselves and others.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I utilize the person in environment mindset. You are so much more than your current circumstances. Life experiences, family, friends, and environment impact you as a whole person. Feeling anxious, trouble sleeping, relationship strains, and difficulty stepping into a new transition in your life can be overwhelming. I like to use the solutions-focused framework to help you utilize the tools that you already have in new ways.
I also hold an endorsement as a Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker. This means that I have undergone additional training and experience working with the unique needs of medically complex transplant patients and their families. I aim to help clients through life transitions, anxiety, and women's health.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a genuine connection and helping you feel heard and understood. Together, we can make sense of what you’re experiencing and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
