Something brought you here — and that matters. Reaching out for support takes self-awareness and courage, and it's often the first real step toward change.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Employee Assistance Professional with more than 20 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults move through some of life's most challenging moments. Over two decades, I've learned one consistent truth: when people learn to recognize their own strengths, they're far better equipped to overcome what's holding them back.
My approach is direct but warm — I meet you where you are, not where I think you should be.
As a Black man, I understand the specific pressures we carry, the ones that we handle alone and don't always show. As a therapist, I help Black men work through depression, anxiety, relationship strain, identity questions, and the expectation to act like everything is fine when it isn't. Black men are not a monolith, and my work reflects that. I've worked with active duty military, veterans, clergy and people of faith, college students, the LGBTQIA+ community, and men living with HIV/AIDS. I built Brother2Brother Therapy Services because I saw a need for mental health care built for Black men. A space where there's no performing and no code-switching. Just honest conversation, brother to brother.
If you're reading this, something's weighing on you. Maybe it's your relationship, your family, or just a heaviness you haven't been able to shake. I've been in the mental health field for over 20 years, working with individuals, couples, and families through some of their hardest seasons. I especially love working with men who show up even when asking for help doesn't come naturally. Whatever you're carrying, we can start there. No need to have it all figured out first.
