Hi! My name is Jillian and I am a licensed social worker. I work primarily with adults and young adults (18+) to help manage topics such as anxiety, stress and life transitions. I also have a strong background in supporting those who may be navigating medical challenges like chronic or terminal illness.

My name is Betty G. Garrison, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, psychodramatist, drama therapist, and play therapist in training. A practitioner of action methods. I am tri-lingual (English, Spanish, and some Italian) and hold advanced degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Theatre Education & Drama Therapy, and Film & Social Reform. My practice is rooted in the integration of expressive arts and psychology, with a strong focus on trauma-informed healing.

My work includes leadership and clinical roles at DreamCatchers' Theatre Psychotherapeutic Healing Institute, South Shore Counseling and Psychological Services, and as a team member and presenter with Tele’Drama International. I am actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP), and regularly present at national and international conferences.
In my work, I am passionate about creating a safe and collaborative environment that can serve as a catalyst for self-understanding and change. I am warm and empathetic. I strive to help clients improve coping skills, interpersonal relationships, heal past trauma, and build self esteem and understanding. I have years of experience working with ages ranging from young children to adults on both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in contemporary psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approaches. I work with diverse populations, including people struggling with behavioral, emotional and/or relational difficulties resulting from varying degrees of early conflict or trauma. I also work with adults dedicated to making meaningful discoveries about themselves that enhance wellness, self-appreciation, and self-confidence. I have a deep regard for all of a person's experiences as I believe them to be be impactful and meaningful. Truly recognizing and understanding how a person is impacted by their experiences whether internal, external, spoken or unspoken of can lead to valued self-development.
