I’m a Houston-based therapist with over ten years of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel understood, respected, and able to be yourself.
My clinical experience includes intensive outpatient DBT programs, medication-assisted treatment, university counseling, and outpatient and residential treatment for adolescents. I have specialized training in comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), including advanced training in DBT Prolonged Exposure and traumatic invalidation. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamically informed approaches, eating disorder treatment, and family therapy into my work.
I have particular clinical interests in trauma, relationship concerns, grief and loss, family-of-origin difficulties, personality disorders, mood disorders, and substance use. I work with clients who may be navigating significant life transitions, difficult relationships, longstanding emotional patterns, or symptoms that have begun to interfere with their daily lives.
Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, addiction, or a major life transition. You may find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, weighed down by self-doubt, shame, guilt, anger, loneliness, or stress that feels difficult to manage on your own.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help clients navigate these challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence. Whether you're coping with work stress, family conflict, relationship difficulties, or significant life changes, therapy can provide a space to better understand what you're experiencing and develop practical tools for moving forward or making change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) with more than 20 years of experience in social work and behavioral health. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adults, and families, with a particular focus on individual and group therapy with adults. Most recently, my clinical work has centered on supporting Veterans experiencing PTSD and trauma-related concerns. I also have extensive experience helping individuals navigate parenting challenges, major life transitions, relationship and family concerns, stress, anxiety, depression, and other experiences that can impact emotional well-being.
I’m a Doctor of Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Army combat veteran with degrees in Sociology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Social Work. My approach to therapy is humanistic, compassionate, honest, and practical. I believe that life’s stressors, whether they come from work, relationships, major life changes, past experiences, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything at once, can affect us in ways that are difficult to manage alone.
I strive to create a space where you feel respected, heard, and understood without judgment.
Hi, I’m Yvette Landry, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience in mental and behavioral health. I offer a safe, supportive, judgment-free space where you can be yourself.
Great to meet you! I’m a multistate-licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in mental health and trauma-informed care. I have worked with adolescents, adults, older adults, veterans, and current and former professional athletes. I know reaching out for support can feel difficult, so I strive to make therapy comfortable from the start. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, the beach, yoga, traveling, sporting events, and time with my dogs, family, and friends.
